About The Position

Old World Wisconsin is a 600-acre outdoor living history museum located in Eagle, Wisconsin. Guests explore homes, farms, and businesses that come from across Wisconsin, exploring stories of place and perseverance from the 1840s to the 1930s. With a focus on hands exploration and immersive spaces, OWW is a celebrated destination for families and friends making new memories, sharing stories, and connecting to Wisconsin's past as they get inspired for their own futures. Staff work in historic indoor and outdoor spaces in the beauty of the Kettle Moraine State Forest to bring history to life for tens of thousands of guests each summer. Experience Facilitators are the frontline, living history interpreters for Wisconsin's largest outdoor living history attraction. Facilitators wear period-appropriate clothing and demonstrate the daily life of rural Midwesterners in the mid-19th to early 20th centuries, creating immersive and engaging experiences for guests. A facilitator's day may include cooking on a historic stove, demonstrating a high wheel tricycle, working in a garden, helping guests do household chores, or performing a historic craft or trade. Old World Wisconsin's 2025 public season runs late April through December. Candidates able to commit to all or a portion of the season are encouraged to apply. Old World Wisconsin is a great place to spend your summer break!
