As an Experience Designer at Slalom Consulting, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing digital experiences across various platforms. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about design and eager to collaborate with clients and internal teams to create innovative solutions. You will be part of the Experience Design Capability Team, which consists of UX designers, product designers, experience strategists, and UX researchers. Your primary focus will be on designing differentiated digital experiences for a wide array of websites, systems, and applications, ensuring that these experiences are user-centered and accessible. In this role, you will engage in a variety of tasks including planning and leading client workshops, conducting user research, and evaluating the usability of designs. You will be responsible for prototyping solutions and iterating based on user insights and client feedback, while balancing the needs of stakeholders and the business. The position typically involves managing one or two projects at a time, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the delivery and relationship needs of your anchor clients. To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate expert-level proficiency with experience design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Framer, Sketch, and Axure. You should have a breadth of experience across the full spectrum of UX/UI design, from user research to interaction and visual design. Your portfolio should showcase your design work and original approaches to challenges, reflecting your 3-6 years of experience in the field.
