About The Position

The Experience Coordinator position will support the experience and events for Oaks Church by fulfilling administrative and hospitality duties as well as leading the Experience Dream Team. This is a full time, hourly, non-exempt position.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Great communication skills both verbal and written
  • Project management
  • Organizational awareness and skills
  • Ability to learn new digital systems and gain proficiency
  • Quick problem solving and initiative when things arise
  • Prolonged periods sitting at desk and working at a computer
  • Prolonged periods standing and working on one’s feet
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time
  • Nearly always work indoors
  • May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and noise levels from office equipment or events
  • Commitment to continual growth in personal spiritual life and relationship with Christ
  • Attend Tuesday Staff Prayer Meetings, Staff Chapels, Staff Development Days, “All Hands On Deck” Events
  • “Serve One and Attend One” at weekly Oaks Church Sunday services.
  • Support the vision, values, and ministry of Oaks Church through tithing, serving, etc.
  • Proactive thinking and willing to learn and train others
  • Model a Godly life for volunteers
  • Be teachable with a humble and submissive attitude
  • Maintain all information confidential (about staff, projects, property, members, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Experience Dream Team and stay in consistent communication with members.
  • Top-Tier Events – coordinate with Hunter Orcutt, assist in working with vendors, submit creative requests for Experience needs, and order supplies as needed.
  • Help lead experience for Top Tier Events from start to finish, including, brainstorming, proposing a plan, and implementing the plan until tear down of events.
  • Be in attendance for set up, event, + tear down of all Top Tier Events.
  • Help track budgets, receipts, & requests for Top Tier & Special Sunday Experience.
  • Take notes in meetings, track details in Asana, and manage the event checklists.
  • Utilize systems to effectively manage our ministries. This includes proficiency in systems such as Fellowship One, Formstack, Asana, Canva, and other systems.
  • Coordinate with all other departments in Oaks Church.
  • Support Executive Director and Creative Arts Associate Director as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.
