About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care of Olney is looking to expand its Caregiver family. We are hiring kind, compassionate, and dedicated CNAs and GNAs that bring their passion to work. Home Helpers Home Care has been providing exceptional comprehensive home care services for over 28 years. We are looking to staff 6-hour caregiver shifts from 10 AM to 4 PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday in Laurel, MD.

Requirements

• Current CPR and First Aid Certification
• Current CNA license
• Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have good oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to understand care plans and assessments
• Must have current doctor's medical health clearance to work which includes a negative TB Test

Responsibilities

• Companion Care
• Meal preparation
• Standby for safety when walking
• Light housekeeping
• Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
• Assist with medication reminders
• Monitor BP and Oxygen levels
