Requirements

• Previous swim instruction experience is preferred, but we’re happy to train passionate new instructors
• WSI certification preferred
• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED and First Aid for adult, child, and infant preferred — we’ll help you get certified within 60 days of hire
• Special consideration given to instructors with experience teaching swimmers ages 6 months to 10 years, advanced swimmers, or students with special needs

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming skills in accordance with the SafeSplash Swim Labs curriculum in a fun, positive, and structured environment
• Lead multiple swim sessions across different levels and age groups to help swimmers progress and gain confidence
• Provide continuous, positive, and encouraging feedback to swimmers and families
• Structure class time to include repetition, reinforcement, and skill progression
• Maintain a safe and engaging atmosphere for all swimmers
