DASI is embracing the potential of online sales and their digital marketplace, which has been growing exponentially and has tremendous potential with the right technology team in place to support and take it to the next level. The role of the Expendable Pricing Analyst is critical to ensure that DASI is producing the best value from its inventory. Optimizing revenue through accurate and timely pricing models is key to this role, and data gathered by the Asset team is essential for its function. The Expendable Pricing Analyst will be responsible for daily pricing activities, including conducting market and price research related to inquiries from the Sales and Purchasing Department and coordination of pricing requests/RFPs. This position will facilitate pricing adjustments as requested and conduct efficient market data gathering activities, including successful collection of phone and email quotations from competing vendors. Additionally, the analyst will review pricing accuracy and uniformity, deliver pricing targets as sent by the department, and effectively and efficiently use established procedures, tools, equipment, and technologies to complete inquiries related to pricing and management of inventory. The role also involves actively participating in process improvements by utilizing the DASI quality system and performing all other duties as assigned.
