About The Position

The Expeditor position works under the direct supervision of the F&B Supervisors. Prepares and insures delivery of food to customers. They must ensure food quality and uphold high food safety and health standards. The Expeditor is proficient in multiple outlets of F&B and may/will be expected to work in multiple locations. This position serves as a dual rated position and may/will be assigned multiple positions within the F&B department such as Server, Busser, Cashier, and Host. This position ensures the confidentiality, security, and accuracy of guest’s records, and promotes positive guest and team member relations. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required and outstanding guest service to fellow team members, guests, vendors, etc. is expected. Regular attendance is required, and on occasion, later hours or weekend time may be required with project deadlines and a neat well-groomed professional appearance is essential at all times.

Requirements

A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
Must possess refined verbal communication skills.
Must be at least 21 years of age or older and have the ability to obtain and retain a Washington State Class II Gaming License; and successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Must know State and County sanitation procedures and obtain and retain a Washington State Food Handlers Permit, A Washington State Liquor License, required
A pleasant personality, team oriented and enjoys working with in a fast-paced environment.
Will comply with, all Lucky Eagle Casino & Hotel Policies and Procedures, daily memorandums, chemical labels, and other instructions.
This position requires footwear with non-skid, slip resistant soles that will enable the team member to navigate a kitchen environment safely on floor surfaces commonly found in restaurants (i.e., smooth, wet, and greasy restaurant quarry tile).
While performing the duties of this position, the team member is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger; handle; feel; or grip objects, stretch and/or reach with hands and arms; stoop; crouch or work in cramped or awkward positions; repetitive motions.
This person may regularly lift and/or move up to 75+ pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust to focus.

Nice To Haves

Previous hospitality experience preferred.
A Serve Safe Permit is preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsible for all plates leaving the kitchen ensures that they are delivered to customers within 20 minutes or less.
Ensures the presentation of the plate is of high standards, (cleans and wipes plate rims).
Helps to keep line clean, organized, and smooth running.
Ensures the quality standards (seasoning, plate presentation, garnish, etc.) is consistent.
Oversees the delivery of food to the floor. Makes sure all food leaves Kitchen on tray.
Keeps expeditor side of line neat, clean, floor swept, etc.
Knowledgeable about menu and liquor items.
Works safely and efficiently, utilizing safe equipment, techniques, and products.
Is friendly, helpful, and courteous with other Team Members and guests.
Is at workstation on time and prepared to begin work at scheduled time.
Performs other duties as assigned.
