About The Position

Ernest is currently in search of a Purchasing Expeditor for our division located in Fresno, CA. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive pay rate along with benefits and a wonderful company culture. The Expeditor performs a variety of activities including but not limited to managing the purchase order follow up report and open order report, keeping the information updated and accurate. This information is critical to our success and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage the purchase order follow up report and open order report, keeping the information updated and accurate.
• Manage purchase order confirmations.
• Expedite orders on a daily basis to ensure on time delivery.
• Gather, collect, record, track and verify data and information from multiple sources.
• Work closely with the merchandising and warehouse teams in scheduling inbound freight.
• Maintain freight log for daily will calls and deliveries.
• Proactively identify issues and work with merchandising, accounts payable, CRMs, and suppliers to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Communicate directly with suppliers.
• Work with merchandiser and/or supplier on any hot issues that need immediate response and resolution.
• Maintain a professional relationship with Ernest Packaging Solutions suppliers.
• Engage suppliers to ensure they are performing to the Ernest expectations and specifications.
• Act as a liaison between merchandisers, customer service, and Sales Reps regarding issues related to deliveries and supplier performance.
