About The Position

The Expeditor II of Material Management is responsible for planning and purchasing raw materials and schedules delivery. They also coordinate movement of raw materials through various departments to meet production schedule. Materials Management contributes to Cardinal Health Operations by handling materials and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment, which includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management, as well as demand, supply, and manufacturing planning. The role ensures that raw material components and manufactured products are available when needed to satisfy plant and customer requirements.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience, preferred.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Places purchase orders with suppliers based on MRP, production schedules or project requirements.
• Monitors and expedites orders to ensure on-time delivery of materials for production.
• Works with supplier to track order status, resolve issues and adheres to delivery timelines.
