About The Position
We are hiring a passionate and professional expediter for the dinner shift at the B-Liner at The Beach Club, part of the Kiawah Island Club. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a keen interest in the culinary arts. The expediter will play a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are processed efficiently and accurately, maintaining the high standards of service that our guests expect. The position starts at $19.00/hour for lightly experienced candidates and higher for seasoned candidates, especially those with a history in fine dining restaurants and clubs. As an expediter, you will be responsible for coordinating the flow of food from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to specification and delivered in a timely manner. You will work closely with the kitchen staff and servers to facilitate communication and ensure that all orders are fulfilled correctly. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and excellent communication skills. In addition to a competitive hourly wage, the position offers various benefits, including BOH sales commissions and tips, which can equate to an additional $1.50-$3.00 per hour.
