Requirements

  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments (read scale, tape measure and laser measure)
  • Mechanical ability.
  • Working knowledge of Electrical safety, use of maintenance equipment and tools.
  • Ability to use measurement devices such as multimeters, calipers, amp meters, etc.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be able to follow oral and written instructions, prioritize tasks, and work effectively with a team.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team as well as independently when assigned tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a wide range of diverse individuals and groups.
  • Able to overcome obstacles and achieve results.
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • High school degree or GED equivalent.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license.
  • Clean driving record for approval to drive a company truck.
  • Reliable daily transportation.
  • Willing to travel locally from job site to job site.
  • Must be able to stand 6-8 hours per day.
  • Ability to perform activities including bending, stooping, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to walk, climb, and navigate through various types of job sites
  • Good visual and spatial perception.
  • Ability to ascend and descend on ladders.
  • Follow established safety policies including, but not limited to, mobile equipment, PPE, emergency response, HAZCOM, first-aid response, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Performing construction site maintenance and tasks.
  • Measuring and installing cabinetry and trim.
  • Transporting job materials, tools, inventory and equipment from various buildings.
  • Installation of exterior and interior fixtures, flooring and finishes.
  • Assemble office furniture and coordinate furniture movement throughout the buildings.
  • Measuring and cutting materials needs for task with tool operation (hand and power).
  • Surface preparation, sanding, filling holes and cracks with putty or filler.
  • Painting surfaces with tools and equipment using rollers, spray guns and brushes.
  • Perform maintenance tasks.
  • Help with repair or replacement needs.
  • Follow and comply with company safety policies
  • Immediately address any hazardous job site conditions in conjunction with site leadership.
  • Ability to meet the safety/physical requirements of the job.
