About The Position

Mid America Health (MAH) is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our Ohio team. This EFDA position will work part- time, 16 hours per week , Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. This position is located at the Belmont Correctional Institution in St. Clairsville, OH . This position is a rewarding, low stress alternative to private practice dentistry and offers competitive compensation of $30 per hour and 401k. NO late nights or weekends!! Requirements

1 year experience
Certificate from an accredited dental assisting program preferred
Current CPR for Healthcare Providers
Active Ohio Dental Radiographer License REQUIRED
Active Ohio Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary license are REQUIRED

Responsibilities

Routine chairside duties include preventive, restorative, extraction, and prosthodontic care.
Placement and finishing of permanent dental fillings
Application of fluoride varnishes and desensitizing agents
Provision of oral hygiene instructions.
