Spokane Pediatric Dentistry is seeking an experienced Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our pediatric team in a temporary capacity, with the potential to transition into a part-time permanent role in the future. Requirements

Active Washington State EFDA license (required)
Prior dental assisting experience required
Confident with expanded functions and chairside workflow
Adaptable, reliable, and comfortable stepping into a temporary role
Positive attitude and strong team mindset

Nice To Haves

pediatric experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Perform expanded functions duties in compliance with Washington State regulations
Place and finish restorations, apply sealants, and assist with restorative procedures
Support dentists during pediatric treatments in a fast-paced setting
Help create a calm, positive experience for children and parents
Maintain sterilization, infection control, and operatory readiness
Collaborate closely with a team that values communication and teamwork
