The Expanded Function Dental Assistant position at our pediatric dental office in Bridgeport Village focuses on providing high-quality dental care to children. Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during pediatric dental procedures.
- Perform pediatric prophylaxis.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the pediatric dental setting.
- Assist in educating patients and families on proper oral hygiene practices.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care in a pediatric dental practice.
- Perform some front office duties; cross training will be provided.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of dental assistant experience required.
- Expanded Function Dental Assistant or EFPDA certificate required.
- Radiology certificate required.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not required.
