In this Expanded Functionas Dental Assistant opportunity, you will support the dental team in delivering high-quality patient care by assisting during dental procedures, preparing instruments, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a caring and professional demeanor, ability to start within a month and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- OH EFDA Certification
- OH X-Ray License
- CPR certified
Responsibilities
- Placing composite and amalgam restorations
- Applying pit and fissure sealants
- Fabricating and reâcementing temporary crowns checking bite, margins and contacts
- Applying topical fluoride and fluoride varnish
- Able to confidently take FMX and Panoramic images
- Applying desensitizing agents
- Performing caries susceptibility testing
- Providing oral hygiene instruction
