About The Position

Provides general dental assistant duties, taking and processing X-rays, Sterilization, placement of preventative or restorative materials limited to sealants, metallic and composite materials.

Requirements

• High school diploma
• EFDA Licensure
• X-ray certificate
• CPR certification
• Dental office experience required

Nice To Haves

• EFDA experience preferred
• Bilingual/bicultural strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists Dentist in providing quality dental care in all venues through which agency Perform general chair side dental assistance
• Placement of preventative or restorative materials limited to sealants, metallic and nonmetallic restorative materials
• Placement of temporary filling materials/ crowns, bridges and remove sutures
• Take and process x-rays including Panorex
• Computer charting and documentation
• Perform dental Instrument sterilization duties
• Performs all assigned duties in a manner consistent with maintaining a safe and respectful patient care environment.
