About The Position

Woodland Park Dental Group is an established family dental practice that has been serving our community for over 20 years! We are seeking an experienced Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join our team full-time. We are located west of Colorado Springs and work in a beautiful, open office with windows in every operatory. Our fast-paced, friendly team prides ourselves on providing the highest level of patient care and are seeking someone who will do the same. Our ideal EDDA will be reliable, self-motivated, and desire to grow and expand their skill set. Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Dental Assistant required
• 2+ years of EDDA experience required
• X-ray certification required
• CPR Certification required

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Invisalign, implants and dentures preferred
• Able to place all classes of fillings
• Denticon knowledge is a plus
• Expanded Duty Dental Assistant certification preferred
• Certified Dental Assistant preferred

Responsibilities

• Take necessary X-rays
• Assist the dentist chairside with four-handed dentistry
• Temporary crowns, fillings, and impressions
• Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Restock treatment areas and maintain inventory
• Prepare treatment plans and update patient charts in Denticon
• Set up and breakdown of operatories
• Schedule patients for treatment
• Maintain OSHA standards
