About The Position
Join Our Team at Danville Pediatric Dentistry and Harrodsburg Kids Dentistry! We are seeking a full-time experienced Expanded Duties Dental Assistant who is friendly, team-oriented, willing to learn, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail and ready to join our family of professionals. Our team provides exceptional pediatric dental care in a playful and welcoming environment, ensuring every child feels safe and at ease during their visit. As an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant at Harrodsburg Kids Dentistry and Danville Kids Dentistry, you will: Assist chairside with expanded duties Perform x-rays and coronal polishing Support our pediatric dental offices with various tasks Welcome patients to the dental office. Locations: Danville Pediatric Dentistry & Harrodsburg Kids Dentistry (7 minutes apart). Flexibility to work at both is a requirement.
Requirements
- Excellent attendance and a team player
- Great with children and able to communicate effectively
- Holds required certifications: X-Ray, Coronal Polishing, Expanded Duties Dental Assistant, CPR
- 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certifications: X-Ray, Coronal Polishing, CPR, EDDA
- Fun, motivated, child-friendly, cooperative, communicative, energetic, capable of multitasking, and prioritizing in a fast-paced setting
- Flexibility to work at both locations
Responsibilities
- Assist chairside with expanded duties
