Big Smiles, a school-based mobile dental practice, is seeking a Expanded Duties Dental Assistant in Hopkinsville, KY and surrounding areas to help provide dental care to underserved children at their school.
Our innovative in school dental program offers something different than a traditional dental practice. With a workday that ends with the school day and no nights or weekends, our program is perfect for people looking for a diverse and different working environment, working parents and anyone who wants to make a difference in the dental field.

Requirements

• Working experience as a Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA)
• CPR/BLS Card
• Digital X-ray Imaging experience
• Valid driver license, reliable transportation and a willingness to travel locally is a must
• Works well with children
• Works well in fast-paced environment; organized and detail-oriented; able to multi-task
• Able to lift and carry equipment for set-up and take down. Up to 50 lbs.
• X-Ray Certified
• Sealant Certified
• Coronal Polishing Certified

Responsibilities

• Dental Assisting Services during mobile dental clinics
• Digital X-ray Imaging
• Patient Records Charting
• Equipment Set-up, Breakdown, and Sterilization Assistance
• Travel Daily to and from school sites
