About The Position

Woodland Park Dental Group is seeking an EDDA-Dental Assistant to join our team-oriented and patient-centric practice full-time. We are located west of Colorado Springs and have a bright and open office with windows in every operatory. We are a fast-paced, friendly team with patients who have been coming to our clinic for generations. Join a well-known, established practice that has been serving our community for over 20 years. Our ideal EDDA-Dental Assistant will be passionate about providing the highest level of patient care, is reliable and self-motivated, wants to grow and expand their skill set, and most importantly, is someone who will jump in and help out anywhere to make the team better. Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a dental assistant
• EDDA experience required
• X-ray certification required
• CPR Certification required

Nice To Haves

• EDDA certification preferred
• Certified Dental Assistant preferred
• Denticon knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take necessary X-rays
• Four-handed dentistry chairside experience
• Temporary Crowns, fillings, and impressions
• Assisting during endodontic treatments
• Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment
• Restock treatment areas and maintain Inventory
• Prepare treatment plans and update patient charts in Denticon
• Set up and breakdown of operatories
• Scheduling patients for treatment
• Maintaining OSHA standards
