About The Position

The Sales Manager (Exit) is responsible for directing and managing the Exit team sales activity by conducting morning motivational sales meetings, providing ongoing sales training for daily sales production, monitoring available inventory for sales efficiency, and providing excellent customer service for prospective and current customers. The Sales Manager (Exit) is responsible for selling vacation ownership products to prospective and existing customers in a professional, courteous, and reliable manner.  The Sales Manager (Exit) is also responsible for selling to customers who have toured and declined to purchase with Main Line and In-House sales departments.

Requirements

  • Equitable work experience with a HS Diploma or equivalent considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the timeshare industry.
  • Requires the ability to calculate basic loan computations and formulate equations efficiently.
  • Must demonstrate professional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both in written and verbal form, with a diverse workgroup to negotiate win-win solutions.
  • Must be able to demonstrate prompt, reliable and motivational demeanor at all times.
  • Requires excellent customer service background with a strong emphasis on positive attitude and effective communication skills.
  • Must be able to sit and perform an uninterrupted presentation with potential customers for approximately 20 minutes per customer up to 15-20 customers a day.
  • Must be able to perform an uninterrupted tour of the resort with potential customers for approximately 3 hours per tour and up to 1 tour per day as needed.
  • If applicable, must possess a valid state driver’s license and maintain the required automobile insurance coverage including maintaining guests safety while touring customers in their vehicles.
  • Organizational and leadership skills are required and a general professional appearance and attitude must be maintained.
  • Must be able to train prospective Exit Sales Representatives.
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays and extended hours, if needed.
  • Must be able to meet profitable sales expectations on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Ability to read and analyze contract documentation following organizational protocols to meet business goals.
  • Ability to write, read, effectively establish rapport, present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers.
  • Effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through the use of personal contact and by telephone on occasion.
  • Ability to learn sales techniques and retain knowledge of the timeshare product.
  • Must possess the ability to listen and professionally answer customers’ questions and complaints.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in Exit Sales.
  • Previous experience as a Takeover/Sales Manager in a timeshare sales environment.

Responsibilities

  • Presents and sells vacation ownership products and services to current and potential customers.
  • Evaluates and analyzes the reason why a customer did not make a purchase with the goal of understanding their needs to present an additional or different program property.
  • Identifies and resolves customers concerns during the transaction.
  • Meets and maintains daily, weekly, and monthly department sales goals.
  • Supervises Sales Representatives by making every effort to maximize both present and long-term sales goals.
  • Attends or conducts regular daily meetings with sales personnel.
  • Offers coaching, counseling, advice, support, motivation, or information that Sales Representatives need in order to help them meet their sales objectives.
  • Plans, organizes, and directs sales team to meet objectives.
  • Monitors team’s daily performance and compares it with objectives.
  • Stays current on financial sales data and inventory for sales efficiency.
  • Assist Exit Sales Representatives in the selling process whenever needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
