About The Position

The Senior EXIM Import Export Analyst position at Raytheon involves conducting technical assessments related to export and import controls to ensure compliance with government regulations. This role is crucial in supporting the JCA Center of Excellence by managing small projects, providing guidance on U.S. Export Controls, and collaborating with various engineering and non-technical disciplines. The position is remote and requires a strong understanding of export classification processes and regulations.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, and 2 years of prior professional experience.
  • Experience in a Design Engineering, Product Management, Configuration Management, or an EXIM/JCA Role.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive technical assessments related to export or import controls to ensure compliance with government regulations.
  • Manage small projects and act as a Strategic Business Unit (SBU) point of contact.
  • Provide guidance and influence others on U.S Export Controls, including policies, procedures, and classifications.
  • Assist with difficult and complex Export Classifications with minimal oversight from the manager.
  • Support Global Trade organization by responding to JCA questions and information provided by USG agencies.
  • Initiate and coordinate Technical Exchanges with Engineering/GT to solve complex topics and interpretations with the ITAR/EAR.
  • Interface with other engineering disciplines, non-technical disciplines, and suppliers to arrive at the correct and compliant export classification.
  • Contribute and develop goals for the team.
  • Assist or manage bids, financial planning, resource planning, or Earned Value (EV) metrics.
  • Attend all team meetings, program reviews, and teleconferences as required.
  • Work with other JCA COE teammates to enhance continuous learning, regulatory knowledge, and improved best practices.
