About The Position

The Exhibit Designer at Dimension Craft Inc. is responsible for creating innovative and engaging 3-dimensional designs for tradeshow stands. This role combines creativity with brand interpretation to deliver compelling visual solutions that meet client needs while adhering to budget constraints. The designer will work collaboratively with the team, participate in design meetings, and produce presentations that effectively communicate design concepts.

Requirements

• Proficiency in 3dsMax modeling software or ability to learn immediately and independently.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator).
• Strong eye for photography.
• Critical thinking skills.
• Ability to think independently or work collaboratively.
• A positive attitude and flexibility in design processes.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design kick-off meetings.
• Conceptualize design solutions considering client needs, inventory, and budgets.
• Rapidly communicate ideas through sketches, notes, and renders.
• Assemble persuasive presentations.
• Be open to revisions and updates to existing designs.
• Provide general dimensions and material specifications for estimating and detailing departments.
• Take exhibit photos at local shows for marketing use.
• Organize files on network job folders as projects are completed.
• Update and maintain department model inventory to reflect physical warehouse inventory, including measuring existing inventory and modeling in 3D.
• Help create department documents such as rental books, capabilities PowerPoints, and design indexes.
• Be ready to assist wherever needed as part of a team.
