About The Position

The Exhibit Cleaner is a part time, entry level position primarily responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of Orlando Science Center’s exhibits. Other duties may include replenishing exhibit consumables, exhibit resets and reporting exhibit issues as they arise.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience & Certifications: N/A

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in basic sanitation and cleaning is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all exhibits are kept clean and presentable by cleaning, dusting, washing, and vacuuming exhibits.
• Perform high-level cleaning with the use of ladders, scaffolding or scissor lifts.
• Perform general cleaning, dusting, and organizing of exhibit components, exhibit halls and shop.
• Follow health and safety procedures when disposing of chemicals, and when using cleaning equipment.
• Assist Exhibit Technician team members by performing tasks such as moving exhibits, stage set up and removal, organizing storage areas, and operating basic hand and power tools.
• Report any exhibit challenges as they arise to the Exhibit Technician I.
• Able to work independently.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
