The Exhaust Fabricator is a key team member that will be responsible for maintaining high-quality and safety standards on the wheelchair-accessible vehicle conversions we produce.

Requirements

Coursework beyond a high school diploma preferred.
Previous experience with automotive systems.
Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to use hand and power tools.
Ability to read wiring schematics and diagrams and follow both written and verbal work instructions.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Outstanding attendance record and reliability.

Responsibilities

Operate a tube bender and bend tubing as needed.
Build vehicle exhaust systems, gas tanks, and pressure & leak test gas tanks.
Maintain equipment, inspect for performance and/or safety concerns, and perform troubleshooting as needed.
Maintain compliance with Freedom Motors’ quality and safety standards, policies and procedures, and OSHA safety regulations.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams and follow both written and verbal work instructions.
Assist other areas as needed.
