About The Position
Under general supervision of the Cardiac Services Manager, Exercise Program Coordinator, and the Medical Director the Exercise Technician will be competent in helping cardiopulmonary participants with risk factor modification, assist in the development of exercise prescriptions, protocols, and supervise exercise therapy.
Requirements
- Good organizational skills
- Demonstrates clinical competence
- Computer literate
- Bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology or related field required
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas.
- Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or other individuals in the workplace, with or without a reason able accommodation.
Nice To Haves
- ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist® (ACSM-CEP®) preferred
