Exercise Support Manning and Equipment Document Lead The Opportunity: You'll serve as the primary coordinator for developing, maintaining, and managing an Exercise Support Manning and Equipment Document (ESMED) in support of the U.S. Army client. In this role, you'll ensure accurate representation of personnel and equipment requirements supporting Warfighter Exercises (WFX) and other client-directed training events. You will support the client's mission to train Division through Corps-level headquarters in the art and science of mission command. What you'll work on: Lead the development and production of the ESMED in accordance with guidance, ensuring alignment with the approved troop list and exercise requirements. Attend Exercise Life Cycle (ELC) events as required. Lead ESMED Working Group as required. Coordinate across divisions, Exercise Control Groups (ECG), and supporting units to collect, validate, and integrate personnel and equipment requirements for all exercise response cells, work cells, help desks, mayor cells, and security details. Ensure ESMED accuracy by identifying and documenting required duty positions, ranks, and occupational specialties necessary to effectively represent subordinate and flank units during exercises. Develop and recommend C2 system allocations for each work or response cell to accurately replicate real-world command and control structures using pre-developed work and response cell templates. Collaborate with planners to ensure the ESMED supports the approved troop list and provides data required for inclusion in the Execute Order (EXORD) for WFX taskings. Assist in the development of the Time-Phased Force Deployment Data (TPFDD) when directed, ensuring proper sequencing and resource synchronization for all supporting units and personnel. Maintain version control, configuration management, and document archival for all ESMED-related products and correspondence. Provide analytical support and recommendations to leadership regarding optimization of manning and equipment resourcing for exercise support. Brief government leadership and stakeholders on ESMED status, updates, and impacts to exercise support requirements. Serve as liaison between the client and external stakeholders regarding personnel and equipment taskings derived from the ESMED.
