Requirements

• Bachelors in Fitness/Sports Studies Required.
• Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Health Human Performance & Recreation, or Exercise Physiology.
• Minimum License: BLS (CPR), ACLS.
• Exercise Specialist degree, must have ACSM and ACLS within 1 year of hire.
• Previous internship in a Cardiac Rehab program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the care of the cardiac patient in multiple modalities.
• Provide all patient care in the Cardiac-Pulmonary department and ECP, where appropriate.
• Provide lifestyle modification, education and exercise prescription for the Cardiovascular and Pulmonary patients and community education.
