Exercise Science, Adjunct Faculty
About The Position
Florida Gulf Coast University is a comprehensive university dedicated to quality education, research, and service. Assignments will include teaching, at both undergraduate and/or graduate levels, as applicable. Teaching assignments may be on the main campus or at off-campus sites within our region. Additional duties may be assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Exercise science or a related field with at least 18 graduate hours in the discipline.
Nice To Haves
- Doctorate degree or higher in from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent accreditation.
- Experience teaching courses at the undergraduate level.
- Five or more years of experience in the discipline.
- Knowledge of strength and conditioning techniques.
- Knowledge of fitness assessment training.
Responsibilities
- Teaches core or elective courses in the undergraduate Exercise Science program as applicable.
- Contributes to course and/or curriculum development.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
