This role is based at Lackland AFB and plays a key part in a major program driving Air Combat Command’s (ACC) ISR mission and USCYBERCOM’s cyberspace operations. Primary Responsibilities This Exercise Planning candidate provides subject matter expertise on Intelligence, Cyber and Space Planning for the 16AF/A34/7 Exercise and Wargames Branch. This candidate is responsible for furnishing expertise, guidance, and direct support to exercise activities. The candidate will rely on their breadth of experience in the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) and cyberspace community to plan and execute wargames and exercises, at the Component and Service levels. The candidate will be expected to create or contribute to CONOPs, EXORDs, and storylines for Combatant Command exercises and wargames. This candidate will be a key member to cyber and intelligence planning syndicates, where they will be required to speak to the capabilities of the 16 AF, and ensure identified exercise and training objectives are developed and included in the planning events. The candidate may be required to participate and contribute to GO-level informational briefings and In-Progress Reviews within 16AF/AFCYBER/JFHQ-C AF. This candidate’s technical expertise will support US Space Command, US Indo-Pacific Command, US European Command, US Strategic Command, United States Space Force, and Joint Force Headquarters DODIN.
