Job Summary Demonstrates advanced knowledge pertaining to the design, evaluation, and standards of exercise programs for who patients who qualify or are undergoing cardiac rehabilitation. Functions as an essential ember of a multidisciplinary team directing, coordinating, and providing special expertise to staff, patients, and families participating in the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program and other Exercise Programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Exercise Physiology required or Bachelor's Degree Kinesiology required or Master's Degree Exercise Physiology preferred
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support [ACLS (AHA)] - American Heart Association (AHA) preferred
  • Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Various Issuers preferred
  • Experience working in an acute care hospital/cardiac rehabilitation program 2-3 years preferred
  • Skillfully utilize and maintain specialized equipment, devices and computer program.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of acceptable ranges of blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturation and EKG and reports any abnormal values to RN.
  • Strong customer service mindset.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work independently with only general supervision.
