Primary Responsibilities: Acts as the administrative and technical support for all procedures provided by the cardiology lab. These procedures include EKGs, holter monitoring, event monitoring, stress treadmill testing, nuclear stress testing, transtelephonic pacemaker checks, tilt table testing, stress echocardiograms, contrast echocardiograms, transthorasic echocardiograms, satellite test transmissions and result coordination. Requirements

BLS, ALS certification through American Heart Association
6+ months experience in an exercise testing laboratory, cardiac rehabilitation facility or corporate health setting.
May consider new graduate if hiring department can provide direct supervision for six months
Demonstrated testing equipment familiarity: Marquette EKG machines, treadmill control systems, and Holter monitor systems or similar
Basic computer, CRT, and typing experience
Ability to work extended shifts in situations deemed necessary by the Cardiology Lab Supervisor

ACSM certification
MUSE experience
Pace Art experience
Cardiopulmonary stress testing experience
Bilingual in English and Spanish
