How you’ll make an impact in this role Design and lead personalized exercise therapy programs, integrating patient assessment data and medical history to drive optimal rehabilitation outcomes. Monitor patient vitals and recognize abnormal responses to exercise, ensuring immediate and appropriate intervention to protect patient safety. Conduct comprehensive pre- and post-rehabilitation assessments to accurately measure progress and inform adjustments to therapy plans. Educate patients, peers, and community members by teaching health and wellness classes to empower self-management and recovery. Ensure the operational excellence of the department by maintaining proper clinical documentation and the correct calibration of all specialized equipment.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Nice To Haves

  • Exercise Physiologist specializing in Strength & Conditioning credentialed from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) preferred.
  • Master's degree preferred.
