About The Position

The position is located in the Rehab Department at Resurrection Medical Center, which operates on a 12-hour shift schedule during the day. The role involves monitoring patients' exercise abilities and adjusting daily exercise sessions to meet their physical and psychosocial care needs. The individual will also ensure the maintenance of exercise equipment and inventory, monitor the par level of supplies, and participate in departmental staff meetings, performance improvement activities, and the training of new staff.

Requirements

• Masters Degree or currently enrolled in a Masters Program in a field related to Exercise Science or equivalent.
• 6 months of recent and relevant experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certified from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) upon hire and maintain current.
• Dysrhythmia Course completion within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS preferred.
