Get to Know Your Team: Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.

Requirements

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science, with a concentration in cardiac rehabilitation.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.

Nice To Haves

• One (1) year of experience.
• Previous employment in a cardiovascular setting.
• ACSM Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist or ACSM Clinical Exercise Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the delivery of personalized, professional and quality patient care.
• Providing internal and external customer service.
• Assuming responsibility and accountability for the patient.
• Assisting with nursing care for the patient, including assessment, planning, implementation, education, management, and evaluation.
• Preparing all departmental paperwork.
• Entering and retrieving patient information from the Hospital Information System (HIS).
• Assisting the patient through all phases of their therapy as needed on an ongoing basis.
