About The Position
The core of this position involves hands-on patient care providing scoliosis specific exercise to our patients. The candidate will help implement and administer prescribed therapeutic exercises and scoliosis specific traction protocols to individual patients, all under the supervision of our expert doctors. Patient documentation and record keeping, report writing assisted by our EMR software, and other related tasks are a significant part of this position. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and organizational skills. Additionally, reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work under pressure are a must. This position is a great learning opportunity. If hired, you will be trained on all systems and protocols both in-house and through our professional affiliates. Certifications in Scoliosis Specific Rehabilitation methods will be provided and required for the position. A Personal training certification, kinesiology degree, or other related healthcare background is a must, as you will build on this background. You must be able to formulate exercise plans using progressions that are standardized and appropriate for our clients. You must also be able to think outside the box and be creative with your plans. Applicants should want to contribute and be a part of a positive, health-focused, team-working environment. This is a part-time position with the possibility of moving to full-time.
