Requirements

• Knowledge in the use of exercise equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working in a fitness environment or with individuals with disabilities.
• Experience working in cardiac and pulmonary fields.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties related to patient care as directed by therapist, including safe transfers, obtaining vital signs, and preparing treatment areas.
• Lead individual or group exercise activities for clients, including assessments and exercise prescription implementation.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation for individual or group activities.
• Clean treatment areas and equipment, maintaining a neat and organized environment.
• Eliminate safety hazards and report housekeeping issues promptly, ensuring proper use of exercise equipment.
• Answer phone calls using department scripting and prepare exercise charts for new clients.
• Assist with staffing, preparing weekly schedules, and marketing activities to promote health and wellness.
