About The Position

The Collaboration Services Team (CST) mission is to ensure a seamless, consistent collaboration experience for Meta executives using our video conferencing technology. Meta is seeking a video conferencing operations specialist with experience in executive support to own all aspects of video conferencing operations for our executives and VIPs. This position is part of the Enterprise Engineering organization, so candidates should be energized about technology, live customer experience and ability to communicate to every level of user. This is a full-time position based in Fremont, CA. The Executive Services Operation Specialist will be responsible for owning our service for executive support in video conferencing globally. This includes proactive inspections, collaboration with our adjacent executive support services & ensuring remediation of any technical or operational incidents for video conferencing.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience and broad knowledge of video conferencing operational executive support
  • 5+ years of experience in all aspects of live video conferencing software and hardware at an enterprise level
  • Technically proficient and can step into support high-priority meetings and small scale events using video conferencing technologies
  • Demonstrated experience and familiarity with Cisco, Zoom, Google and Webex video conferencing technology
  • Experience with video conferencing project management, operational processes, risk management & mitigation
  • Background & working experience using Cisco & Google Hardware and Software
  • Capacity to meet tight deadlines, highly organized with time management
  • Proficiency in monitoring, detection, remediation through technology and data-based decision making
  • Demonstrable experience of service management of contractors and/or direct teams
  • Hands-on experience with hardware video conferencing technologies such as Cisco Codecs
  • Proven experience of problem-solving skills and effective communication skills
  • Track record with their organizational skills and to prioritize work effectively & efficiently
  • Track record of adopting and innovating in new technology and agility at learning new products and technologies
  • Willingness to travel between offices locally and occasionally internationally
  • Flexibility with working hours for global timezones
  • Bachelor's degree or demonstrated equivalent work-related experience
  • Experience building relationships with business partners and third-party partners
  • Experience working under your own initiative in an enterprise operational service with demonstrated experience
  • Experience working with Executives internally and external companies in an operational capacity

Responsibilities

  • Owns the operational service for all internal VC technology in executive spaces, including conference rooms, training rooms and remote deployments globally
  • Proactively drives the operational service to support video conferencing solutions for executives at Meta, leading the global service
  • Ensures operational rigor across inspections, break/fix & remediation processes
  • Partners closely with global video conferencing operations & engineering services to ensure alignment
  • Ensures effective operational processing & management of high priority escalations, incidents, and maintenance for the executive’s video conferencing hardware and software technology
  • Owns and maintains stakeholder and cross-functional relationships and communications across Meta including Executive teams, Facilities, Deployments, Events & security partners
  • Owns service reporting and documentation and ensures continuous development & improvements
