The role of a Specialty Sales Executive Team Leader can provide you with the knowledge of guest service fundamentals, experience building and managing a guest first culture on your team, and knowledge of retail business fundamentals including department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing and promotions strategies. You will manage a team of hourly team members and leaders, creating business-specific strategies and goals, while also developing and coaching your team to elevate their skills and expertise.

Requirements

  • 4 year degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
  • Ability to manage conflict and lead others.
  • Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis and decision making.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs.
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks independently.

Responsibilities

  • Drive total store sales and understand your role in sales growth.
  • Create a guest-obsessed culture and lead your team to prioritize the guest experience.
  • Create schedules and make adjustments as needed to align to guest traffic and business needs.
  • Manage your team to effectively plan merchandising and pricing workload.
  • Know and assess the competition and leverage guest insights to drive the business.
  • Build a team of consultants knowledgeable in Apparel and Accessories, Beauty, and Electronics.
  • Lead backroom processes, organization, layout, and replenishment of the sales floor.
  • Ensure fitting rooms are welcoming and used as an extension of the sales floor.
  • Anticipate staffing needs and recruit talent.
  • Establish a culture of accountability through clear expectations and performance management.
