About the position

The role of a Service & Engagement Executive Team Leader at Target involves advocating for guest experience and ensuring that service expectations are exceeded. The leader will be responsible for building a team of Guest Advocates, driving store sales, managing staffing needs, and ensuring a positive guest-centric culture. Responsibilities

  • Build a team of passionate and knowledgeable Guest Advocates and Service and Engagement Leaders.
  • Drive total store sales and understand the role in sales growth.
  • Anticipate staffing needs and recruit talent.
  • Manage training completion and provide continuous education opportunities.
  • Engage in meaningful development conversations with team members.
  • Establish a culture of accountability through performance management.
  • Respond to negative guest experiences and ensure team support.
  • Own schedules to support peak traffic times and key events.
  • Champion physical and digital offerings to enhance guest experience.
  • Utilize guest survey reporting tools to drive change.
  • Lead the team to deliver an efficient guest pick-up experience.
  • Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct and safety.

Requirements

  • 4 year degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Ability to manage conflict and lead others.
  • Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis and decision making.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs.
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks.
