About The Position

The role of a Service & Engagement Executive Team Leader at Target involves advocating for guest experience and ensuring that service expectations are exceeded. This position requires knowledge of both physical and digital services, as well as the ability to manage a team focused on guest engagement and service recovery. The Executive Team Leader will be responsible for building a team of Guest Advocates, driving store sales, managing staffing needs, and ensuring a positive team culture. The position also involves engaging in meaningful development conversations, managing schedules, and responding to guest feedback to enhance the shopping experience.

Requirements

  • 4 year degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen.

  • Ability to relate well with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong cognitive skills including problem analysis and decision making.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs.

Responsibilities

  • Build a team of passionate and knowledgeable Guest Advocates and Service and Engagement Leaders.
  • Drive total store sales and understand the role in sales growth.
  • Anticipate staffing needs and talent plan for recruitment.
  • Manage leaders to ensure training completion and continuous education.
  • Engage in development conversations with team members.
  • Establish a culture of accountability through performance management.
  • Respond to negative guest experiences and de-escalate situations.
  • Own schedules to support peak traffic times and key events.
  • Manage the store experience based on guest traffic and sales.
  • Promote physical and digital offerings to enhance guest experience.
  • Utilize guest survey reporting tools to drive change.
  • Lead the team to deliver an efficient guest pick-up experience.
  • Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct and compliance.
