About The Position

The Executive Team Leader Human Resources (Assistant Manager HR) at Target is responsible for leading HR strategies and initiatives that support the overall business objectives. This role involves managing a team of HR Experts and Team Leaders, fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion, and ensuring a positive guest service experience. The position requires a strong focus on team development, operational efficiency, and community engagement, while also driving sales and profitability through effective HR practices.

Requirements

  • 4 year degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead and create a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience.

  • Drive total store sales and understand the role in sales growth and profitability.
  • Plan, lead, and follow-up on organizational and operational change.

  • Build teams committed to continuous learning and guest-service excellence.
  • Engage and educate store team on Target's community initiatives.
  • Develop leaders to champion a guest-centric culture.

  • Leverage expertise to guide store leaders in hiring and onboarding talent.
  • Develop a team of HR Experts and Team Leaders to solve problems and engage team members.
  • Manage all team operational and cyclical programs related to culture, pay, and rewards.
  • Establish a culture of accountability through clear expectations and performance management.
