About The Position

As an Executive Team Leader GM & Grocery, you will be responsible for managing the General Merchandise and Food Sales team, ensuring a consistent experience for guests by overseeing product availability, pricing, and promotional signing processes. You will lead a team of experts in operations, manage inventory accuracy, and drive total store sales while creating a guest-obsessed culture. This role requires a strong understanding of retail business fundamentals and the ability to develop and coach your team to elevate their skills and expertise.

Requirements

  • 4 year degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong interest and knowledge of the Food & Beverage business.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Ability to manage conflict and hold others accountable.
  • Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis and decision making.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs.
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks independently.

Responsibilities

  • Drive total store sales and understand your role in sales growth.
  • Manage Food & Beverage, food services, inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing, and promotional signing processes for all GM areas of the store.
  • Manage a team of experts in operations, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Enable efficient delivery to guests by leading pick, pack, and ship fulfillment work.
  • Develop a strategy and utilize workload planning tools to complete all scheduled workload.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with your team to ensure completion of tasks and workload.
  • Manage all GM backroom and sales floor areas, reviewing reporting to identify gaps and develop a plan to resolve.
  • Oversee GM Team Leaders' workload planning including transitions, revisions, and sales plans.
  • Drive fulfillment sales by leading the Fulfillment team to fulfill each order accurately and efficiently.
  • Train, validate, and coach team to deliver proper execution on all food safety standards.
  • Create a guest-obsessed culture that prioritizes the guest experience.
  • Assess competition and leverage guest insights to drive business.
  • Work a flexible schedule that aligns with guest and business needs.
  • Plan, lead, and follow-up on organizational and operational change.
  • Establish a culture of accountability through clear expectations and performance management.
