The role of a General Merchandise & Food Sales Executive Team Leader can provide you with the knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience building and managing a guest first culture on your team. You will manage Food & Beverage, food services, inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for all GM areas of the store. This position enables efficient delivery to our guests by leading pick, pack and ship fulfillment work. No two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include driving total store sales, managing a team of experts in operations, and creating a guest-obsessed culture that prioritizes the guest experience.

Requirements

  • 4 year degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong interest and knowledge of the Food & Beverage business.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
  • Manage conflict, lead and hold others accountable.
  • Relate well with and interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making, financial and quantitative analysis.

  • Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently.

Responsibilities

  • Drive total store sales and understand your role in sales growth.
  • Manage Food & Beverage, food services, inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for all GM areas of the store.
  • Manage a team of experts in operations, accuracy and efficiency.
  • Enable efficient delivery to guests by leading pick, pack and ship fulfillment work.
  • Develop a strategy and utilize workload planning tools to complete all scheduled workload.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with your team to ensure completion of tasks and workload.
  • Manage all GM backroom and sales floor areas, review reporting to identify gaps and develop a plan to resolve.
  • Oversee GM Team Leaders workload planning including transitions, revisions and sales plans.
  • Drive fulfillment sales by leading the Fulfillment team to fulfill each order accurately and efficiently.
  • Lead a culture centered in food safety; train, validate and coach team to deliver proper execution on all food safety standards.
  • Create a guest-obsessed culture that prioritizes the guest experience.
  • Assess all GM and Food & Beverage backroom and sales floor areas.
  • Plan, lead and follow-up on organizational and operational change.
  • Develop and coach your team to elevate their skills and expertise.
  • Establish a culture of accountability through clear expectations and performance management.
