About The Position

The Executive Team Leader GM & Food Sales (Assistant Manager General Merchandise and Operations) at Target is responsible for driving total store sales and managing a team to ensure a consistent experience for guests. This role involves overseeing operations related to General Merchandise and Food Sales, including inventory management, pricing, and promotional signing processes. The Executive Team Leader will also develop strategies to meet business priorities, manage workload planning, and ensure compliance with food safety standards. Requirements

  • 4 year degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong interest and knowledge of the Food & Beverage business.

Responsibilities

  • Drive total store sales and understand the role in sales growth.
  • Manage Food & Beverage and food services operations.
  • Lead a team of experts in operations, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Enable efficient delivery to guests by leading fulfillment work.
  • Develop strategies and utilize workload planning tools.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with the team to ensure task completion.
  • Manage all GM backroom and sales floor areas.
  • Oversee workload planning for GM Team Leaders.
  • Drive fulfillment sales and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
  • Train and coach the team on food safety standards.
  • Create a guest-obsessed culture that prioritizes guest experience.
  • Assess competition and leverage guest insights.
  • Work a flexible schedule to meet guest and business needs.
  • Plan and lead organizational and operational changes.
  • Develop and coach team members to elevate their skills.
  • Establish a culture of accountability and performance management.
