Why Box needs you About the team We are a small, high-impact in-house search team that operates like a mini search firm. We partner with senior leadership to deliver targeted executive-level talent across functions and geographies. Our team blends the speed and focus of an internal recruiting group with the rigor and consultative approach of an external executive search firm. Role summary We are seeking an experienced Executive Talent Partner (4+ years) to lead full-lifecycle searches globally for executive roles (Director+). The ideal candidate has experience in both retained executive search and in-house talent acquisition or recruiting operations. You will manage multiple searches simultaneously, build strong client relationships with and act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and senior stakeholders, and develop high-quality candidates and provide a first class candidate experience.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of recruiting experience with a significant focus on executive or senior-level searches.
  • Experience in an executive search firm (retained) and/or in-house recruiting with exposure to senior hires.
  • Proven ability to identify, attract, engage and close senior and passive candidates across functions (e.g., product, engineering, finance, sales, marketing).
  • Strong stakeholder management and consultative partnering skills with senior leaders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interviewing, and negotiation skills.
  • Comfort with market mapping, research tools (Findem) and CRM platforms (Thrive).
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality candidates and successful placements.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Highly collaborative, proactive and comfortable in a fast paced, often ambiguous environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting executives across multiple geographies and ideally globally.
  • Background in technology, SaaS, or other relevant industry verticals.
  • Familiarity with behavioral and competency-based assessment techniques.
  • Experience mentoring junior recruiters or leading small search projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end executive searches from kick off, role definition, market mapping, candidate development, interviewing, assessment, and offer management.
  • Partner closely with hiring executives to define role strategy, success profile, compensation, and timelines.
  • Conduct targeted research and proactive sourcing, including direct outreach to passive candidates.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of diverse executive talent.
  • Create compelling candidate narratives, pitch materials, and outreach messaging.
  • Assess candidate fit through structured interviews and competency-based evaluation.
  • Manage stakeholder communication and provide regular search updates and market insights.
  • Negotiate offers and manage candidate experience through onboarding handoff.
  • Track search metrics and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and tools.
  • Mentor and collaborate with junior recruiters; contribute to team culture and knowledge sharing.
