About The Position

Our Blood Institute is actively looking for an Executive Support Coordinator who encompasses a spectrum of executive coordination and administrative support duties for the CEO. Responsibilities range from routine clerical tasks to specialized, complex, project assignments. It also brings rewarding, career enhancing opportunities for identifying, planning, executing, and maintaining a portfolio of high-end strategic tasks designated by the CEO and other corporate leaders. In all aspects of this job, performance expectations are for proactive communication, appropriate self-direction, professional deportment, high productivity, clerical precision, unwavering integrity, and exceptional dependability. Respect for confidentiality is essential, as is the prioritized delivery of multiple, concurrent tasks. This highly empowered employee must maintain composure, collegiality, professionalism, and focus in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. He or she must also possess excellent organizational skills and work effectively and efficiently with others. Making the possible practical, this mature leader should enjoy working with wide, self-directed latitude to anticipate solutions and deliver results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or associate's degree preferred
  • Valid drivers license
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in project management and/or senior executive assistant roles
  • Strong communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Solid proofreading skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while adhering to timelines
  • Willingness to resolve ambiguities and triage action steps in complex projects
  • Capacity to impose structure, order and punctuality upon administrative tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Power Point. Visio or graphic program skills a plus
  • Proficiency with MS Outlook, including email and web applications
  • Ability to interact comfortably with VPs, community leaders, as well as OBI executives, line staff, volunteers, etc.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a positive work attitude
  • Discipline and initiative to be self-starting and self-directed, when appropriate

Nice To Haves

  • Past supervisory and/or organizational leadership experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of Oklahoma Blood Institute and the blood banking or healthcare industry is a plus
  • Curiosity and a drive for success are valuable character traits
