About The Position

The Executive Steward is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of non-cooking kitchen workers, ensuring that the stewarding area aligns with the company's food and beverage objectives. This role supports the luxury dining experience by maintaining supplies for food and beverage service and managing the operation of the steward department.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or its equivalent.
  • Preferred experience in the hospitality industry.
  • 1 year of experience managing employees.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate activities of non-cooking kitchen workers.
  • Develop and implement strategies for the stewarding area aligned with food and beverage objectives.
  • Deliver the company experience for guests and employees.
  • Maintain supplies for food and beverage service to support luxury dining.
  • Monitor and maintain par levels of stock and complete requisitions for additional supplies as needed.
  • Ensure a sufficient supply of clean dishware, glassware, and pans, taking corrective action as necessary.
  • Schedule employees based on forecasted volumes.
  • Train employees on proper cleaning methods and equipment operation.
  • Check the proper operation of dish machines and cleaning equipment daily.
  • Keep food and beverage areas clean and sanitized regularly.
  • Direct steward personnel in cleaning floors and work surfaces.
