About The Position

We are looking for a Research Analyst. The Research Analyst at True Search will act as a strategic partner to our practice groups, serving as a key source of intelligence and market knowledge. This individual will be responsible for building and maintaining the foundational data that powers our search execution. An effective Research Analyst provides the insights and candidate pipelines that enable our search teams to deliver exceptional results, ensuring our firm stays ahead of industry trends.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with specific practice groups to become the subject matter expert on that industry, including key companies, talent, and market trends.
  • Conduct detailed research projects to create comprehensive market maps and identify target companies at the outset of a search.
  • Take primary ownership of developing robust, diverse pipelines of potential candidates through deep-sourcing and research.
  • Serve as the main source of truth for your practice's data within our database, Thrive TRM, ensuring all information is accurate, current, and well-organized.
  • Proactively track executive moves, industry news, and funding announcements to identify and add new, high-quality candidates to our network.
  • Collaborate with Associates and Partners by providing critical research and data-driven insights to inform search strategy and client conversations.
  • Develop and maintain internal knowledge management resources for your assigned practice areas.
