Requirements

  • 8+ years recruiting experience with a minimum of 3 years working on Executive level (VP+) search projects.
  • Experience in retained search firm or a combination of retained search + insourced executive search team.
  • Excellent communication skills shown through clear, structured and concise written and verbal presentation.
  • Strong business acumen and growth mindset.
  • Demonstrated success in a fast-paced environment.
  • Superior project and time management skills.
  • Engaging style with the ability to establish rapport quickly.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Technical acumen and data rigor.
  • Strong sourcing expertise and practices.
  • Trained and practiced in behavioral based interviewing and assessment techniques.
  • Collaborative style characterized by transparency, teamwork, flexibility.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting brand, marketing, or innovation teams.
  • Exposure to working in a matrixed organization.
  • MBA or progress toward an advanced degree.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to understand their business objectives and talent needs.
  • Influence search and selection criteria based on labor market knowledge.
  • Identify and implement search strategies to attract top leadership talent.
  • Manage end-to-end leadership hiring and pipeline projects.
  • Develop thoughtful recruitment strategies underpinned by labor market insights.
  • Advise and consult with senior leaders regarding workforce trends and executive candidate expectations.
  • Manage candidate relationships, ensuring exceptional candidate experience.
  • Perform referencing, offer proposal, negotiation, and close of finalists.
  • Develop and embed innovative practices in strategic recruiting methodologies.
  • Engage with internal partners to gain insight and collaborate to deliver results.
  • Manage search firms as needed as part of an overall executive sourcing strategy.
  • Continuously develop research and talent intelligence on executives and executive-ready talent.
  • Capture and communicate market trends and industry information to executive management.
